LA FEMME INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

We are delighted to announce Ashes will be screening on Sunday the 22nd of October at 2.00 at the wonderful LA Femme International Film Festival at The Regal Cinemas on Olympic Blvd, woohoo!

LA Femme IFF prides it’self on being a premiere festival that focuses on platforming women filmmakers “by women for everyone”. Created in 2005 and the first of its kind in Los Angeles the festival was created when it became apparent to the organisers that there was a need to enhance women behind the camera as directors, producers and writers.

BYRON BAY INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

Another Aussie screening makes us excited! And who wouldn’t want to bask in sand, sun and awesome indi-films at the fantastic Byron Bay International Film Festival.

BBFF says- “each year Australian and International film talent join thousands of film lovers at BBFF, in our beautiful beachside town, for a dynamic and truly distinctive film festival experience known for its trademark friendly, laid-back vibe and characteristically open, expressive and appreciative audiences.”

Ashes will be screening as part of a special showcase of two shorts and one feature doc on Sunday October 29th at 6.30 at the Brunswick Heads Theatre. See you there!

OUR AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE OF ASHES AT CINEFESTOZ IN BUSSELTON, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

We are byond excited to announce the Australian premiere of Ashes will take place at our largest destination film festival on September 1st at the historic Esplanade Hotel in buzzing Busselton as part of the “Fantastic Friday Shorts” film set. CinefestOZ is a wonderful supporter of the arts offering some of the highest cash prizes for the filmmakers in an incredible setting 3 hours south of Perth.

We can’t wait to take part in the festival and enjoy the other amazing Australian film’s that will be showcased here!

ANNOUNCING THE WORLD PREMIERE OF ASHES AT THE LOS ANGELES TCL CHINESE THEATRE AS PART OF DANCES WITH FILMS FESTIVAL 

We are thrilled to announce Ashes will be having its World Premiere at the Dances with Films Festival in Los Angeles’ famous TCL Chinese Theatre between June 22nd till July 2nd. Dances with Films is a LA Based film festival that has been running since 1998 having grown from presenting a handful of films to more than 200 each year…from Narrative Features and shorts to include the top Documentaries, Music Videos, TV & Web on the circuit today. In 2012 the festival moved to its current location – the famed Chinese Theatre in the heart of Hollywood.  From there it has expanded to 11 days with ever increasing sold out theatres. 2023 will be the 26th year of the festival, which now also runs a New York edition. 

LA LOVES ASHES! ASHES GETS NOTICED BY LA SHORTS FEST

Our second fesitval in LA to nab Ashes is the highly competative LA International Shorts Fest. Now in its 27th year, LA Shorts is the longest-running short film festival in Los Angeles. The festival screens over 350 films and attracts over 10,000 attendees each year including Hollywood industry professionals and emerging independent filmmakers.

The festival is accredited by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences OSCAR®, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts BAFTA and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television (ACCT) presenters of the Canadian Screen Awards and The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain (Goya Awards).
